Love...

Love

Love is a constant reminder
Of the time we shared

Love is looking in your eyes
And not having a regret

Love is you, love is me
The time we met and our sincerity

Love is in your hug, in your smile
I let go and feel loved

Love is all of you and nothing else
It doesn't matter what happens next

Love is sharing our dreams and letdowns
Just being with you makes me smile

Just a kiss

Just a kiss

Just a kiss
Awakens my senses
I long for you
Day and night

Just a kiss
Is all I want
When I look in your eyes
I lose control

Just a kiss
Being in your arms
Feeling your body
Against mine

Just a kiss
To seal our love
As a reminder
Of more love to come

Just a kiss
To remind me
Of the love we share
Now to eternity

In love

In love

I feel you
Close to me
Your body
Urging me
To hold on
To you
In a sweet
Surrender
We embrace
Falling into
Each other
We taste
The very
Essence of
Our love
With a kiss!

* Where do I find...

A personal note...

Where do I find...

Oh! Where do I find kind words
Love, kindness and a good soul
One that never tires of giving praise
Good advice with a smile
Reaches for my hand when I fall down

I look no further for he is right here
He's my friend and will always be
For he has touched my heart
In such a way that we will never part
For he is love

Peace on Earth

Peace on Earth

Peace on Earth
Means so much for you and me
Feeling it in our hearts with joy
And being sin free

Peace on Earth
Means loving each other always
In good times and bad times
Being a helping hand with a smile

Peace on Earth
Means giving and giving
Not expecting anything back
And yet feeling loved

Peace on Earth
Means every day makes you smile
For you are happy being you
And just being able to love

Peace on Earth
Means so much to a child
He feels love and comfort
And warmth in his heart

Peace on Earth
Means we feel loved within
Not pain and sorrow
But peace in our being

For her name was Grace

Jennifer's response to Deborah Munson's "The Gift of Grace"...

For her name was Grace

For her name was Grace
And her passion was life
For which she deeply believed
There was no afterlife

If life is a virtue
And love a sacrifice
Her life was commendable
In which she felt chastised

For love is not love
But merely a thought
A flame put out
By the rancor of lust

For that eternal flame
Was all that she hoped for
Somewhere it existed
And she knew it in her heart

From eternity to eternity
That will, that driving force
Was her heart’s desire
Not just a thought

The warm tears that she felt
Were merely an embrace
Of a life full of promises
She once contemplated

In her heart she felt a thump
Of promised love far too long gone
That forever she would remember
But time forgot

For her name was Grace
Her heart’s desire?
Was to always embrace
Life as a challenge

The Gift of Grace

On Jennifer's post 'Thnakful' posted at AOM on Nov 17th, 2009,
Deborah Jeanne Munson commented with this...

The Gift of Grace

Somehow, she always knew….even though
Such love and peace resided deep within the
Folded wrinkles of her life in which
Sometimes she forgot….but
Would always turn back to Him
Ever aging during this brief existence
Though created for eternity
Eternity, a word one cannot fathom
From the depths of even the most
Striking of imaginations…

Somehow, she always knew too
That true love hung on a tree
Wounded for our transgressions
And bruised for our iniquities
The chastisement of our peace
Was upon him and by His stripes
We are healed…

Somehow, she always knew that if she
Clung to her life she would lose it
But if she gave up her life to Him
She would find it…

Again someday in yet another new world
Where all things are made new
As the lion lays down with the lamb
She will know true and lasting love
When He wipes away her tears
And she sees the nail scared hands
And death swallowed in sweet victory…

Somehow, she….always….knew, but
She still had a hard time understanding
This beautiful gift called Grace.

Thankful

Thankful

I am thankful for
The Moon and the Stars,
The Sun and the Earth below;
The mountains and the valleys,
The ocean, the lakes, the rivers,
And the streams that flow;

I am thankful for
The trees that give fruit
And the ones that do not so;
For their beauty is all year long,
Their green branches give me
Shade in a hot summer day,
Their lovely flowers and sweet
Perfume awaken my senses
In a spring afternoon,
In the fall their leaves full
Of color remind me of the rainbow;

I am thankful for
The birds and their young,
And all the living things
Including the beasts free to roam;
For they are all part of this
Beautiful world that G-d
Put me in to love and grow;

I am thankful for
The children that cry
And the children that glow,
For their mothers and their fathers,
Their aunts, uncles and grandparents,
Who love them so?
Thank G-d for this beautiful world
That Love may know!

I want to hold on

I want to hold on

I want to hold on to you my love,
And never let you go.
Hold me…caress me… kiss me...tell me…
My love, that we will be together forever;
And when I think of you, I long for you
I can’t wait to be in your arms again,
Holding you…caressing you…
Kissing you…feeling you…telling you…that
You and you alone is what makes me whole
You are now part of me, part of my soul.

Turn Me On

Turn Me On

Turn me on, turn me on,
And get that rhythm right on.

If you love, if you love me,
I’ll fill you up with
So much happiness and passion
That it will raise you to thee.

And when I’m in your arms,
We’ll tell each other sweet things.
That you and I feel love
Flow through our beings.

I’ll scream out your name,
You look in my eyes.
Then you arise to that sweet melody,
With a look of surprise!

Turn me on, turn me on,
And get that rhythm right on.

* You and I

You and I

There you were…our eyes met,
It seemed like love at first sight.
I felt so drawn to you,
Everything around us not important
Everything ceased to exist.
I turned to you and you turned to me
And the world was ours and ours alone.

I was filled with happiness by just being there
With you, nothing was more important than you.
You and you alone the sole purpose for my existence,
I longed to touch you, to feel you, to love you.
Our souls made a promise to each other,
That we would keep that eternal flame burning
Inside of us until one day we would meet again.

Until then my love, my soul will long for you.
That eternal flame will be burning and once in
A while will get dim, dimmer, and almost die but
Then it will spark a happy light of memories
Of that moment you came into my life.
And that promise will be renewed within me
Until One day we meet again.

I ponder what it will await us, and wonder where
You are now, are you pondering as well?
Is your soul longing for that renewed promise too?
If so, just know that you are not alone,
Dream my love of the moment that we will meet again.

Embrace

Embrace

I want to be the one that you crave,
That flame of desire.
In your heart and in your mind
I will forever live with
Memories that burn like a fire.
You call out my name and I ran to you,
We embrace and we are no longer two.

In The Heat Of The Night

In the heat of the night

In the heat of the night
that’s when I feel the need
To which my soul calls
to the rhythm of the beat…
So I rise to my feet and
hit the dance floor,
in your arms
I find myself and
my heart is beating hard.

You swing me high and
you swing me low
And to the sound of
the music our bodies flow.
In the heat of the night
the sound of the music
is so sweet,
I feel your warm breath
while we move to the beat.
